Thunderbird Resorts Purchases Poway Office Building for $1.6M

The San Diego office of Cushman & Wakefield announces that Thunderbird Resorts, an international provider of branded casino entertainment and hospitality services, has purchased an 8,025-square-foot, single-story freestanding office/flex building at 12255 Parkway Centre Dr., in Poway, Calif. (92064) for $1,600,000.

Both the buyer and the seller, San Diego Employers Association, were represented by Mickey Morera and James Duncan of Cushman & Wakefield.

According to Mickey Morera, Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield, Thunderbird Resorts recognized the opportunity in the market and decided that now was an advantageous time to purchase its own space. "The building offers them a continued presence in the Poway community along the 15 Corridor, as well as prime signage visibility," he said.

Thunderbird Resorts will relocate to its new corporate headquarters from its current Poway location on Dearborn Place in November 2010.

The building on Parkway Centre offers corner visibility, 40 parking spaces, large reception area and a training room.
