Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois, Inc. (C&W) announces the hiring of Eric Sorensen as
Senior Director in our Office Tenant Representation Group. Mr. Sorensen joins C&W from the
John Buck Company, where he most recently served as a Vice President. He brings to C&W over
20 years of experience in assisting clients with strategic planning, site selection for office
uses and technology centers, feasibility studies and executing corporate and professional
relocations.

Prior to joining the John Buck Company, Mr. Sorensen managed the Midwest office of CoStar.
He also worked as a managing director with The Dow Jones Company in New York City, as a
Financial Analyst with JMB Institutional Realty in Chicago and worked in Property Management
with Rubloff Inc. in Chicago. Mr. Sorensen is also a frequent guest lecturer at several
universities regarding commercial real estate markets.
Mr. Sorensen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Millikin University in
Decatur, IL. He also participated in Executive Training at the University of Virginia's Darden
School of Business. He is a board member at the Hephzibah Children's Association and also
involved with the Amate House and Catholic Charities.
