Royal Pet Supplies Inks 79,819-SF Renewal at 1551 Copans

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Royal Pet Supplies, the pre-eminent pet product distributor in the eastern United States, has signed a 79,819-square-foot renewal at 1551 Copans Road, located in Copans Business Park in Pompano Beach.

The Cushman & Wakefield South Florida Industrial Team of Chris Metzger, Rick Etner, Sky Groden, Christopher Thomson and Justin Cope represented Royal Pet Supplies in its site search and in lease negotiations with the building's owner, Premier Commercial Realty, Inc.

"Strong economics and the property's central location both played a major role in Royal Pet Supplies' decision to remain at 1515 Copans," said Mr. Groden, a senior director with Cushman & Wakefield.

Founded more than 60 years ago, Royal Pet Supplies employs more than 400 employees in Pompano Beach and Brentwood, New York. It supports independent pet stores nationally, offering a complete selection of products for aquariums, birds, cats, dogs and small animals.

Copans Business Park is a 25-acre, 380,400-square-foot business park comprised of four buildings, centrally located just west of I-95.
