    28 Jan, 2011, Tampa

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the Davis Team - comprised of Rian Smith, Kostas Stoilas and Mike Davis of the firm's Tampa office - completed two major industrial transactions in January, continuing the momentum of a successful 2010. The Davis Team arranged nearly 100,000 square feet in transactions during the first month of 2011, after having completed more than 236,000 square feet in deals during the fourth quarter of 2010.

"Increased velocity during the fourth quarter of 2010 and the first quarter of this year is a positive sign for the market," said Mr. Davis, an executive director at Cushman & Wakefield. "Tenants who were once at a standstill are now showing the confidence to make decisions."

    The notable transactions include:

IBC Sales Corp., owner of the HostessĀ® brand, leased 45,975 square feet at Oak Creek 3, located at Oak Creek Distribution Center in Riverview. Cushman & Wakefield represented the building's owner EastGroup.
