Cushman & Wakefield today announced Curtis Magleby, an accomplished real estate finance and
investment professional with two decades of experience at leading Wall Street firms, has joined
the company as Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets and U.S. Western Region Leader. He
will be based in Los Angeles.
Mr. Magleby, who joins Cushman & Wakefield from RBR Capital, will oversee Cushman &
Wakefield's Investment Sales, Debt & Equity Finance and Investment Banking divisions in the
western half of the United States. His appointment closely follows the recent hiring of Matthew
Gworek to lead the company's Eastern Region, and Steve Weilbach to lead the company's
Multifamily practice.
Prior to RBR Capital, Mr. Magleby established a very successful track-record in real estate
asset management and investment at firms including Wachovia Securities, Lehman Brothers and
Salomon Smith Barney in New York and Los Angeles. At Wachovia, from 2005 to 2009, Mr. Magleby
was a Managing Director in charge of Lodging and Gaming in Investment Banking, where he
established new revenue streams and executed more than 100 capital markets transactions. At
Lehman Brothers, he served in various leadership roles from 1998 to 2005, including serving as
a Managing Director of the firm's Real Estate and Leisure/Casino Group. There, Mr. Magleby was
the primary team member responsible for the execution of various financings and M&A
transactions totaling more than $8 billion.
At Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Magleby will direct growth initiatives, recruitment and
training, and oversee business development and client service throughout the Western United
States.

Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Magleby spent six years at Salomon Smith Barney in its Real
Estate and Lodging Group, focused on analysis and structuring of debt and equity financing for
public and private investors.
Mr. Magleby is a graduate of Brigham Young University, where he received his bachelor's
degree in Statistics with an emphasis in Business.
