Cushman & Wakefield today announced the promotion of Charles “Trip” Hoffman
to the position of senior director in the Transaction Services Group of the firm’s
Stamford, Conn.
Trip Hoffman, who previously held the title of director, has 22 years of real estate
experience, specializing in office and industrial leasing and sales. Mr. Hoffman has been
responsible for transactions totaling over three million square feet on behalf of a client
roster made up of tenants and landlords that includes: Bristol-Myers Squibb Company,
Commonfund, XL America, Abitibi-Consolidated, Procter & Gamble, Clairol, First Brands,
Benenson Capital, Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and SHPS.

Mr. Hoffman is also widely recognized for his highly successful work on behalf of landlords
in Fairfield County. He represents the owners of NordenPark in Norwalk, 1600 Summer Street, and
225 High Ridge Rd. in Stamford; and Reservoir Corporate Center in Shelton and has completed
significant leasing assignments at each of these properties.
Prior to entering the commercial real estate field in 1984, Mr. Hoffman worked for
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in its sales training program concentrating on the marketing and
sales of consumer products.
Mr. Hoffman is a founding member of the Darien Rowayton Bank and attended the University of
Richmond where he received a B. A. in Economics. He and his family reside in New Canaan,
Conn.
