The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Long Island Chapter (NMSSLI) has signed a 10-year
lease to occupy 6,426 square feet of office space at 40 Marcus Avenue in Melville, announced
commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield.
The non-profit organization will relocate from 200 Parkway Drive South in Hauppauge to the
first floor of 40 Marcus Avenue, a 50,000 square foot property owned by Rimco, LLC.
David Leviton, senior director and Robert M. Kuppersmith, associate of Cushman &
Wakefield of Long Island represented NMSSLI in the transaction negotiations.
"The National MS Society, Long Island Chapter required additional space and needed a
location that could accommodate their growth," said Mr. Leviton. "The space at 40
Marcus Avenue is ideal because of its central location plus the opportunity for
expansion."
""We are very excited about the move to 40 Marcus Avenue," said Pam Mastrota,
President and CEO of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Long Island Chapter. "The
property offers an efficient layout as well as very competitive rental rates."
