DFW Area Neighborhood Shopping Centers Sold

Cushman & Wakefield Represents Weingarten Realty Investors in Transactions
Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc., the premiere commercial real estate services firm in the region, announces the sale of two neighborhood shopping centers in the DFW area. Golden Beach Marketplace, located in Fort Worth, and The Shoppes at Deer Creek in Crowley, were both sold to Tabani Group, Inc. Tom Salanty, Executive Director in the Capital Markets Group of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, represented the seller of both properties, Weingarten Realty Investors.
“Credit crunch or not, retail properties across the south and in DFW in particular, continue to trade with superior pricing. It is still a good time to be a seller,” said Mr. Salanty.
Golden Beach Marketplace is a 93,430-square-foot Alberstons shadow-anchored center situated on the southeast corner of Golden Triangle Boulevard and North Beach Street in Fort Worth. It is the only grocery-anchored shopping center serving the northeast Fort Worth suburb and features other major tenants including Blockbuster Video, Pizza Hut and Sonic.
The Shoppes at Deer Creek is an 87,571-square-foot Albertsons shadow-anchored center located on the northwest corner of F.M. 1187 and F.M. 731/South Crowley Road in Crowley. The property is 85.3% leased to 15 tenants including Blockbuster Video, Nationwide Insurance, Planet Beach and Pizza Hut.
