Retail Brokerage Added to Boost Chicago Service Offerings

Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois, Inc. (C&W) announces the addition of Retail Brokerage
Services to the expanding list of commercial real estate offerings provided by the firm's
Chicago office. Meredith Oliver, Luke Molloy and Brent Wayburn, with a combined retail
brokerage experience in the Chicago market of more than 25 years, have joined C&W to lead
the new group.
"We are very excited to have a team that is able to provide retail expertise for both
tenants and landlords in our Chicago office," said Matthew Winn, Senior Managing Director
and U.S. Retail Services Leader. "These additions to C&W's retail platform will
continue the growth of our urban and suburban retail initiatives throughout the U.S., allowing
us to provide comprehensive brokerage services in the country's major markets."
Mr. Oliver joins C&W as a Senior Director. He was previously a principal with Metro
Commercial Real Estate and brings more than 10 years of experience in the retail brokerage
industry to C&W. Mr. Oliver has advised a variety of high-profile national and regional
retailers and was awarded Starbuck's Broker of the Year in 2004. In addition, he has negotiated
leases, purchase and sale agreements on behalf of numerous national and local landlords,
developers and property owners. Mr. Oliver is a graduate of North Park University.
Mr. Molloy, a 12-year commercial real estate veteran, is also joining C&W as a Senior
Director. He was previously an associate with Mid-America Real Estate Company, where he earned
The Top Producer Award in both 2009 and 2010. Mr. Molloy specializes in tenant and landlord
representation, specifically as it relates to strategies in challenging urban and suburban
environments. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa.
Mr. Wayburn, a Director, comes to C&W from Metro Commercial Real Estate, where he began his
commercial real estate career in 2002. Most recently he was a Vice President with the company.
Mr. Wayburn specializes in tenant representation and product leasing throughout the entire
Chicago DMA, with an emphasis on restaurant representation. He was awarded Top Dealmaker by
Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches in 2008. Mr. Wayburn graduated from the University of
Michigan.
