C&W Wins International Retail & Leisure Award

Cushman & Wakefield has won the award for “International Property Agent of the Year” at the RLI (Retail & Leisure International) Awards, held at London’s Natural History Museum on 11th May. Retail & Leisure International is a leading publication dedicated to the retail and leisure market, incorporating global news, specialist features and profiles on all aspects of the industry.
John Strachan, Global Head of Retail at Cushman & Wakefield, who was at the gala dinner to accept the award said; “Winning this award acknowledges Cushman & Wakefield’s global leadership position in providing comprehensive and integrated retail and leisure property services to top international clients worldwide.”
Highlights of the year included the creation of a Global Retail Executive to build on Cushman & Wakefield’s existing global retail and leisure platform which already consists of large numbers of specialists in every major market in the world. Also highlighted was the success of several major retail/leisure projects each of which utilised the skills and services of Cushman & Wakefield employees from several different countries and our market leading position in the UK’s deregulated casino market.
This award for the global retail services team follows the firm’s success at the UK Property Awards last year when it was named Retail Agency Team of the Year 2005.
