Laurie Williams Named Director, Global Operations, Office of the COO

Laurie Williams of Cushman & Wakefield has been promoted to the position of Director, Global Operations, Office of the COO, reporting to the firm’s global chief operating officer John Santora.
In this new position, Ms. Williams is responsible for working with the COO to advance the firm’s global integration and expansion initiatives, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. In this capacity, she will liaise with the firm’s executive leadership and various departments, service lines, partnerships, and subsidiaries around the world.
“Laurie’s professionalism and operational experience will be a great help as we streamline processes, procedures and implement new initiatives, all of which will benefit our firm now and in the years to come,” said Mr. Santora.
Ms. Williams was previously Manager of the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operational functions of the program and communication with the firm’s 21 Alliance partners throughout the United States.
Ms. Williams joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2003. Previously, she worked at BearingPoint, and at Arthur Andersen, where she was responsible for the staffing and managing of both firms’ technology consulting groups.
Raised in Texas, Ms. Williams graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies and Anthropology.
