Kyiv, Ukraine – March 11, 2008 — Deloitte relocates its Ukrainian headquartersfrom
Leonardo Business Center to Zhylianska Street, 48,50-a. For Deloitte, occupying their own
building was the only way of ensuring sufficient capacity for the rapid growth that the Firm
expects over the next three to five years. Deloitte plans to triple the size of the
practice during this time period, in order to keep pace with the tremendous growth in client
portfolio and increasing demand for more sophisticated and specialized professional
services.
The new office building will be known as the Deloitte Business Center and is a ten-storey
state-of-the-art class A office building, in immediate proximity to Respublikanskiy Stadion
metro station. The building has a rentable surface area of 9,500 square meters and boasts
efficient floor plates and soaring views of central Kyiv. The building is being developed
by ISA Prime Developments and is owned by Eurasia Ukraine.
Cushman & Wakefield represented Deloitte in the transaction. Deloitte plans to
occupy approximately 70% of the business center and Cushman & Wakefield is now marketing
the remaining 30% of space for sublease.
According to Vladimir Vakht, Deloitte Managing Partner, the Deloitte Business Center was the
obvious choice for the firm. “Deloitte success is built around our ability to attract and
retain the quality talent. Our clients needs in our services grow rapidly. We grow with our
clients. The Deloitte Business Center is the only office development in central Kyiv that is
capable to support both our need for growth and our tough technical requirements.”
Aaron Block, Partner, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko, the
Russian operations of global real estate consultant Cushman & Wakefield, says: “Securing a
class A building like the Deloitte Business Center for Deloitte’s office needs is a real coup
in this tight leasing market. The successful completion of a deal of this caliber was a
culmination of more than a year’s work on Deloitte’s side. Eurasia and Deloitte have
proven that it is possible to create long-term value for both landlord and tenant in the Kyiv
market.”
Rysbek Toktomushev, Eurasia Ukraine General Director says: “Deloitte is the right long term
partner for Eurasia as we continue our development activities throughout Ukraine.”
