Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed joint letting agent on the Fashion Avenue,
Dundrum, Dublin.
Fashion Avenue is an extension to the 850,000 sq ft Dundrum Centre, which opened, 100% let,
in March 2005. The Fashion Avenue retail units form a link between the existing
Dundrum Centre and the planned phase two, where construction will shortly commence to provide
an additional 600,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space. By Autumn 2009, Dundrum will
house 250 stores.
Fashion Avenue will form a natural extension to the 32,000 sq ft Harvey Nichols Boutique and
targets for the 14 new units will include a spectacular range of international fashion
brands.
Peter Mace, partner, Cushman & Wakefield comments: "The Cushman & Wakefield
cross-border retail activity sits well with the vision of Irish developer, Crossridge
Investments, bringing together the very best in luxury brands and established high street names
to further improve this world-class shopping destination. We are delighted to have been
given the opportunity to join the leasing team and build further upon the undoubted success of
the first phase".
Charlotte Swanson, Associate Retail Partner at Cushman & Wakefield adds: "We will
be working closely with Bannon Commercial and Hamilton Osborne King to identify occupiers for
the 14 new units adjacent to Harvey Nichols".
