British Airways plc has appointed Cushman & Wakefield as its exclusive real estate
adviser on its global portfolio outside of the United Kingdom.
British Airways began its tendering process in November 2006 and the appointment of Cushman
& Wakefield follows a competitive pitch process. The appointment is for an initial
period of three years from October 2007.
British Airways’ global real estate portfolio includes offices, engineering/cargo, airside
facilities and residential accommodation across over 60 countries.
In line with British Airways’ business strategy, Cushman & Wakefield will look of ways
of maximising efficiency and returns from the real estate portfolio. Guy Douetil, Apara
Guha and Nicola Esam will be the British Airways global account team and the range of services
Cushman & Wakefield is contracted to supply will include account management, transaction
management, project management, portfolio administration and valuation and advisory
services.
