Reinhold Lifestyle, a Swedish fitness & spa centres operator, has signed a lease for
approx. 2,530 sq m in a multi-purpose centre of Galeria Malta in Poznań, Poland.
Galeria Malta is being developed by a Spanish company Neinver, which is represented in the
leasing process by real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield.
Reinhold Lifestyle is the latest product of the Reinhold company, which has been operating
in the international real estate market for 50 years. The Reinhold Lifestyle centre in
Poznań is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2008.
In 2007, Reinhold Lifestyle will open four facilities in Poland: in Krakow (Galeria
Kazimierz), Wroclaw (Arkady Wrocławskie), Gliwice (Forum Gliwice) and Warsaw (Złote
Tarasy). The openings are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2007.
Galeria Malta is being built in Poznań at the intersection of Abp. Antoniego Baraniaka
and Katowicka Streets, by Lake Maltańskie. The Centre will have 153,000 sq m of total
space and will include three retail levels (52,000 sq m), 200 retail and service units, a
ten-screen cinema, a fitness centre, a food court and a seven-storey car park for 2,000
cars.
Galeria Malta will open in the fourth quarter of 2008. As much as 70 per cent of retail
space has been leased or reserved by Polish and multinational retail chains, including the
Piotr i Paweł delicatessen and H&M. The centre has been designed by two architectural
studios: Ewa and Stanisław Sipiński from Poznań and APA Wojciechowski from
Warsaw. The general contractor is Hochtief Polska and the cost of the development is 125
million euros.
