  • David Leviton Promoted To Executive Director

    Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately held commercial real estate services firm, today announced the promotion of David Leviton to the position of executive director, Transaction Services.  Mr. Leviton, who joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1991, was previously a senior director.  He is based in the firm’s Long Island office located in Melville, NY.

    Throughout his career, Mr. Leviton has negotiated complex office leasing transactions on behalf of tenants and landlords and facilitated office building sales in the Long Island region. Tenants he has represented include the State of New York, Equitable Life, Citicorp, Winthrop University Hospital, South Nassau Hospital, Fidelity Investments, Level 3 and Sprint.

    On behalf of landlords, Mr. Leviton has completed the successful leasing and marketing of properties totaling more than four million square feet.  Most notably, in 2005 on behalf of the property owner, he completed one of the largest transactions in Long Island history with the 454,000 square foot lease for North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital at i.park in Lake Success, NY.

    Mr. Leviton is one of the highest producing brokerage professionals in Cushman & Wakefield’s Long Island office and has been honored several times with the firm’s annual award for production excellence. He has also been the recipient of Cushman & Wakefield’s “Deal of the Year” award.

    Mr. Leviton is a member of the board of directors and executive committee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is on the board of directors for CIBS (Commercial-Industrial Brokers Society).

    Mr. Leviton received a B.A. from S.U.N.Y Stonybrook. He also attended the New York University School of Real Estate
