East side of Stamford experiences renaissance with property makeovers and the addition of
new retail and residential components
A major renovation with multimillion dollar capital improvements has been completed at 750
East Main Street, a 103,000-square-foot, Class-A, office building in downtown Stamford,
announced Cushman & Wakefield, the property’s exclusive leasing agent.
The remodeling and reopening of 750 East Main Street complements the renaissance that is
taking place across the entire east side of Stamford. Currently underway is the
renovation of the Holiday Inn hotel; development of luxury residential units, such as Eastside
Commons and Glen View House; as well as the addition of new retail stores and restaurants.
“The redevelopment of downtown Stamford will support the productivity and growth of
the city’s central business district,” said Jim Fagan, senior managing director and
head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Fairfield and Westchester County region.
“The east side of Stamford will undergo a complete revitalization that will further it as
a thriving business and residential community.”
Specifically, the redesign of 750 East Main Street includes a fully remodeled lobby that
features nine 60-inch televisions and a 50-foot back-lit glass panel, a new café, upgraded
elevator cabs and common areas, Wi-Fi connectivity, a new fitness center, totally renovated
bathrooms, as well as an outdoor patio and picnic area. The property also offers secure,
free garage parking for tenants, complimentary shuttle service to and from the Stamford
Transportation Center, and an on-site management team.
Mr. Fagan, along with Cushman & Wakefield’s Steve Baker, senior director, and Adam
Klimek, associate director, are spearheading an aggressive campaign to market the building for
single- or multi-tenant use. The 11-story property is available for immediate
occupancy. 750 East Main Street is owned by 750 Stamford Partners LLC, an entity managed
by Martin Sands.
“The renovation and refurbishment of 750 East Main Street has completely repositioned
the property to appeal to a broad range of users,” said Mr. Baker. “The newly
remodeled lobby is arguably the most electrifying office building lobby in the entire region.
The massive video screens and sound system will undoubtedly make a memorable impact and lasting
impression on anyone that enters the building.”
“The property features a great balance of a central location, brand new office space,
modern-day amenities and a cost-effective leasing structure,” said Mr. Sands.
“Every effort in the redesign of 750 East Main Street has gone into meeting the needs of
today’s most innovative and successful companies.”
For companies seeking to brand and build enhanced corporate awareness, 750 East Main Street
can offer large tenants signage opportunities which, due to the property’s location and
height, may be clearly seen from I-95.
