Cushman & Wakefield strengthens Hospitality team

Patrícia Proença holds a degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão (ISEG) and a post-graduate degree in Management & Consulting from the same university. Currently, Patrícia is taking a masters degree in Corporate Finance in ISCTE (Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa), Lisbon.

Before joining C&W, Patrícia Proença worked as a consultant at ILM THR, where she developed various hotel and residential projects.

The Lisbon Hospitality team, headed by Jorge Catarino (Partner), provides services in the hotel sector such as market and economic feasibility studies, investment and property brokerage, operator selection, contract negotiation, concept and project design for resorts/tourist developments, and consultancy and strategic advisory.

In 2007, this department was responsible for the valuation of several hotel units in Portugal, totalling more than €85 million of real estate assets, such as Westin Campo Real Hotel, Regency Hotel and Tivoli Porto Hotel, among others. It also provided development advisory services to several hotels and resorts, including the recently developed Memmo Baleeira Hotel in Sagres, or the acquisition opportunity analysis of Le Méridien Penina and D. Filipa in the Algarve.
