Located beside the A23 in Torres Novas, these facilities occupy an area of 10,500
m2 distributed into warehouses, factory and offices, on a 60,000 m2 plot.
Since 2000, the property in question has been connected with the meat-processing and
distribution sector.
In this transaction, Cushman & Wakefield represented the owner of the factory in Tonova,
a company belonging to the British Grampian Country Food Group which operates in the meat-
processing market on an international scale.
This transaction is remarkable in the Portuguese market, as the factory being sold will
continue to carry out the same manufacturing activities. According to Ana Gomes, Associate
andHead of Lisbon’s C&W Industrial Department, “This represents another significant
transaction in the industrial property sector, notwithstanding the difficult economic context
and the apparent stagnation in the processing sector in Portugal. We are therefore continuing
to record a certain amount of demand for well located, high-quality industrial facilities that
meet the infrastructure needs of complex and highly demanding industries.”
