David Sherman and Marc J. Trevisan have joined the team at Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. in
East Rutherford as executive vice presidents, announced Gualberto “Gil” Medina,
executive managing director of the company’s New Jersey operations. This highly regarded
team brings more than a half century of combined experience and incredibly deep connections in
the New Jersey commercial real estate community to their new role – which includes
growing the company’s already impressive tenant representation platform.
Sherman, a resident of Bedford, N.Y., and Trevisan, a resident of Ridgewood, N.J., have
worked together for nearly two decades. They specialize in tenant representation assignments
for Fortune 500 companies, with an emphasis in the legal arena. The team has expertise in
leasing and sales of both office and industrial product, having orchestrated numerous
blockbuster corporate headquarters deals as well as warehouse/distribution and flex
transactions in New Jersey and nationwide.

Sherman, who is recognized for his creative deal-making ability, has more than 28 years of
industry experience. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership, having created groundbreaking
training and educational programs for young professionals. He is licensed in New Jersey and New
York, and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. He earned a bachelor’s degree
from SUNY/Buffalo and has attended the NYU Real Estate School of Continuing Education. Sherman
is active with Habitat for Humanity, the Make A Wish Foundation and St. Joseph’s Hospital
Center.
Trevisan has more than 24 years of commercial real estate experience and headed his former
employer’s law firm practice group in New Jersey. He has earned respect for his in-depth
knowledge of diversified commercial sectors and intimate understanding of negotiating
transactions across product types. He is a licensed salesperson in New Jersey and earned a
bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University. Marc is active with Habitat for Humanity,
the Valley Hospital Auxiliary Foundation and the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation. He is also an
active member of his primary and summer church parishes. Trevisan also enjoys coaching in his
hometown of Ridgewood.
