M.A.C. Cosmetics Signs $1.2 Million Lease At Bridgeworks

The Urban Property Group of Cushman & Wakefield announces that downtown San Diego now welcomes the first street front location of MA.C. Cosmetics, the leading brand of professional cosmetics.

M.A.C. Cosmetics, Inc., a Canada-based company, has signed a 10-year, $1,283,025 lease for 1,983 square feet of ground floor retail space at Bridgeworks located at 234 Fifth Ave. (92101), directly across the street from the new Hard Rock Hotel.

In the transaction, M.A.C. was represented by Robert Cohen of Robert K. Futterman & Associates.

The lessor, S.D. Bridgeworks II, Inc., was represented by Bill Shrader and Corinna Gattasso of Cushman & Wakefield’s Urban Property Group.

Bridgeworks, a mixed-use project, features 32,000 square feet of ground floor retail space in addition to 21,400 square feet of loft-style office space and an underground parking garage. The project is located directly across from San Diego’s recent addition, The Hard Rock Hotel, and near both the San Diego Convention Center and PETCO Park.

Other tenants of Bridgeworks include Lou & Mickey’s, a steak and seafood restaurant, Mango, women’s clothing boutique, and PJ’s Coffee & Tea Company. Bridgeworks, completed in 2001, was developed by S.D. Bridgeworks and Allegis Development. The project was designed by Carrier Johnson.
