C&W Promotes Mercedes Angell to Senior Director

Cushman & Wakefield is pleased to announce that Mercedes Angell has been promoted to a Senior Director position within the firm.

Mercedes Angell joined the Tampa office of Cushman & Wakefield as a Leasing Manager in 1995. In 2005, Ms. Angell was promoted to Director. Ms. Angell primarily represents landlords and building owners with assets throughout the Tampa Bay area and is responsible for a portfolio of office parks totaling more than 2.4 million square feet. The properties range from Class "A" buildings to single-story, garden-style office parks. Since 2000, Ms. Angell has leased 2.9 million square feet of office space.

Ms. Angell was a 1999 recipient of the Tampa Bay Business Journal's Top 40 Professionals Under 40 Award. As a prominent member of the Florida Gulfcoast Commercial Association of Realtors, she has been an annual recipient of FGCAR Pinnacle awards since 1994, regularly finishing as a Top Five Producer in both general and office brokerage. In 2004 Ms. Angell finished in FGCAR’s Top Four Producer category. In 2005, the Florida Real Estate Journal named Ms. Angell one of the Top 20 Women in Commercial Real Estate in Florida.

Ms. Angell attended the University of South Florida where she studied Marketing. She has successfully completed the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors Office Brokerage I and II courses. Her affiliations include board membership for The Spring of Tampa Bay, Florida's largest domestic violence shelter.
