Inter IKEA Centre Polska S.A. has entered into a lease agreement with Saturn, a chain of
consumer electronic stores.
Saturn offers a wide range of brand products such as: new media, consumer electronics,
household appliances, computers and accessories, Software, telecommunications and photography,
as well as wide range of CD and DVD. Today the company operates 14 stores in Poland located in
Katowice, Krakow and Warsaw among others. Port Łódź has gained a new tenant which will occupy
over 5,000 sq.m of the centre space.
Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate consultant is responsible for the
commercialization of the centre, in cooperation with Lease Department of Inter IKEA Centre
Polska S.A.
Port Łódź shopping centre, which is due for completion in spring 2010, will be one of the
largest shopping centres in the region. The complex will be 127,000 sq.m including 100,000 sq.m
intended for lease with catchment area holding 1.5 million of potential customers. The
attractiveness of the centre will be enhanced by original arrangement and fit-out, with patio
combining recreational, sports and leisure functions. Recreational and retail zone with
children’s play area, stage and tree-covered gardened will be 10,000 sq.m.

The extension of a tram line going to the city centre and connecting the scheme with Pabianice
will also contribute to positive perception of the shopping environment. Two new tram stops
will be constructed and access road modernized. Infrastructural investments scheduled to be
completed by 2011 will result in the connection of Port Łódź with the western part of the
city’s future ring road (expressway, S14).
Port Łódź will feature over 200 stores and service points of various offer. Over 33,000 sq.m
will be ocupied by IKEA. The tenant group also includes Leroy Merlin, Alma, H&M, C&A,
RESERVED, Cropptown, House, Mohito, Home&You, Esotiq, Cubus, Benetton, ExiSport, RTV EURO
AGD, Douglas and other leading national and international brands.
