“In Q3 2009 the cost of new office fit-out decreased by 10-15%. All expense items decreased in value except for special systems (security, access control, etc.) and audio-video facilities as the main driver of this kind of expense is imported equipment.
The volume of expense in each category depends on the country of origin of the materials and services being acquired. Usage of domestic products can reduce expenses significantly.
More often companies hire the same subcontractor for design and construction works.
The demand for such services continues to decrease. Somewhat offsetting this is landlord’ growing preference to do premises fit-out to attract tenants and buyers”.
