  • Moscow Investment Snapshot October 2009

    25 Nov, 2009, Moscow

Stanislav BIBIK, Associate, Capital Markets, C&W/S&R:
Despite some improvement in liquidity, there is still lack of debt finance available on the market which makes it difficult to refinance current debts. As non-performing loans increase, the banks will further explore the ways of improving their balance sheets. At the same time there is clearly an increased level of investment activity on the market and the latest Lukoil $1.5bn Eurobond issue represents a positive sign for investors who are interested in the Russian market.”
