Cushman & Wakefield, the world's largest privately held commercial real estate services
firm, today announced its newly formed Broward-Palm Beach office leasing team. The team will
include Zach Wendelin, Mark Pateman and John Criddle. Mr. Wendelin is based in the firm's Fort
Lauderdale office, and Mr. Pateman and Mr. Criddle are based in the firm's Palm Beach Gardens
office.
"Cushman & Wakefield already has an established office brokerage presence in
Broward and Palm Beach counties," said Mike Elting, executive managing director of the
Southeast region for Cushman & Wakefield. "These three talented individuals possess
the local knowledge and experience, and will leverage Cushman & Wakefield's national and
global relationships to continue to position us as the leading commercial real estate services
firm in South Florida."
Since joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Wendelin has been responsible for more than 2.7
million square feet of office leasing assignments in Broward and Palm Beach counties. With more
than five years of experience in the South Florida commercial real estate market, he has
represented many of the counties' most well-known landlords. In 2009, Mr. Wendelin was among
the firm's Top Ten Producers in South Florida. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr.
Wendelin was previously with Marcus & Millichap, where he worked primarily on investment
sales transactions, preceded by four years as a member of the U.S. Navy in Yokosuka, Japan. He
is a graduate of the University of Miami.
Mr. Pateman is an office leasing and investment sales specialist. He has more than 10 years
of experience in the South Florida commercial real estate market, having served as a real
estate attorney and owning his own boutique real estate firm, and has been involved in many
significant projects in South Florida. Mr. Pateman was named as Cushman & Wakefield's
"South Florida MVP." He received his bachelor's degree from Skidmore College and his
J.D. from the University of Miami.
Since joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Criddle has provided office advisory services to
a diverse base of property owners, including local and institutional landlords throughout Palm
Beach County. Mr. Criddle began his commercial real estate career as a Leasing Director for The
Rendina Companies, a national medical real estate developer. He is a graduate of Elon
University.
