The San Diego office of Cushman & Wakefield announces that Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard &
Smith, LLP, a national law firm with more than 750 attorneys and 19 offices, has signed a
10-year lease for 29,940 square feet of office space at 701 B St., Suites 1800 and 1900, San
Diego (92101). Financial terms were not disclosed.
The lessee was represented by Clayton Hovivian of Grubb & Ellis Company and Andrew Ewald
of Cassidy Turley | BRE Commercial. The lessor, TRIZEC 701 B Street, LLC, was represented by
Matthew T. Carlson and J.P. Huntington of Cushman & Wakefield.
Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith will relocate its San Diego office to its new location
in the second quarter of this year. In 2009, the firm was named the 49th largest firm in the
nation by The National Law Journal, and the third largest law firm in the state of California
by California Lawyer.
The 560,311-square-foot, 24-story Class A office building is owned and managed by an
affiliate of Equity Office. The building is located just two blocks from the Gaslamp District
and offers easy access to freeways and public transportation. The building also offers tenants
access to a 24-hour concierge-style security staff, an on-site deli and on-site health club.
The lobby underwent a full renovation in 2007.
Additional tenants of 701 B St. include Bank of America (Merrill Lynch), Alliant Insurance
Services and Gafcon.
