The Cushman & Wakefield San Diego Urban Property Group reports that Navigato & Battin,
LLP, an established San Diego law firm that caters to small- to mid-sized businesses, has
purchased a 2,792-square-foot office condominium in Sapphire Tower at 755 West A St., Suite
CU-2, in the Columbia District of downtown San Diego (92101), for $603,701.
In the transaction, David Maxwell, Bill Shrader and Corinna Gattasso of the Cushman &
Wakefield Urban Property Group represented the seller, CW San Diego Towers Sapphire LLC.
Navigato & Battin was represented by Ryan Jessee of Downtown San Diego Real Estate.
The buyer will relocate from its current downtown location at 501 West Broadway to its new
office space this summer. The firm has been in practice for more than a decade and specializes
in business formation and corporate governance, construction claims, employment relations,
insurance law disputes, real estate and trade secrets.
Sapphire Tower is a 32-story mixed use building located at the southwest corner of Kettner
Boulevard and A Street. The building offers 8,300 square feet of office space, along with 1,800
square feet of retail space and 96 residential condominiums. Completed in 2008 by Centurion
Partners and Avion Development, the project features a state-of-the-art fitness center, steam
rooms, sundeck, pool and spa, gated parking, 24-hour lobby attendant and clubroom. Sapphire
Tower was designed by Austin Veum Robbins Partners.
