Logoplaste Leases Plainfield Manufacturing Facility
14 Sep, 2010, Chicago
Logoplaste, a rigid plastic packaging manufacturer, has leased 75,000 sf of industrial space at
14420 Van Dyke Road in Plainfield, Illinois. Cushman & Wakefield of Illinois, Inc.
(C&W) represented both tenant and landlord in the eight-year term lease.
Britt Casey, C&W Executive Director, and Josh Young of Cincinnati Commercial (a C&W
Alliance Partner) represented the tenant Logoplaste. Chris Porter, C&W Executive Director,
and Steve Chess of Townsend Commercial represented the landlord, E&E Company.
The 14420 Van Dyke Road facility was built in 2004 by Clayco Construction for the building's
owner. The facility is a modern pre-cast concrete building featuring 30' clear warehouse
ceilings, exterior docks, ESFR sprinklers, and a land site large enough to accommodate a
50,000-square-foot building addition. As part of this transaction, the facility will be divided
to accommodate Logoplaste's 75,000-square-foot need. The remaining 75,000 square feet is
available for lease through Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.
According to Britt Casey, the Van Dyke Road facility will serve as a manufacturing plant for
plastic bottle pre-forms to be used in Logoplaste's blow molding operations. The facility
offers both the necessary image and the proximity to Logoplaste's current customer base.
Logoplaste intends to move its U.S. headquarters to the Van Dyke Road facility within the next
six months.
Logoplaste manufactures rigid plastic packaging for global companies in the food and beverage,
personal care, household care, and oil and lubricants sectors, and runs 52 factories in 17
countries. See www.logoplaste.com for more information.
