Cushman & Wakefield Expands Tampa Retail Services Group

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that it has expanded its Tampa Retail Services Group with the addition of retail real estate specialists Jason Donald and Philip Glassman. Mr. Donald and Mr. Glassman have joined the firm as Directors.

"Cushman & Wakefield is committed to expanding our retail brokerage operations in the Tampa Bay region," said Larry Richey, Senior Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield's Tampa and Orlando offices. "The addition of Jason and Philip to our team will compliment our existing professionals and expand our client base and geographic coverage in Tampa, allowing us to further take advantage of current market opportunities."

Mr. Donald will focus on retail investment. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was a Managing Partner for Sperry Van Ness, CPIG. While there, he carried out site selection and asset disposition of corporate properties, retail NNN investment sales and acquisitions. Focusing on partnering and consulting, Mr. Donald has managed the rapid growth of his corporate clients, most recently overseeing a client's growth from 35 locations to more than 100 locations within a 24 month period. He has also managed corporate clients with 700-plus location portfolios, implementing cost-saving measures and efficiencies by providing construction standards and uniform vendor contracts.

Mr. Glassman, who is a CCIM and has more than 20 years of experience in the Ocala and The Villages market, will focus on retail brokerage. He was previously Director of Sales and Marketing for Security Land Holding Company, where he secured national credit tenants, completed long-term leases and sold the finished NNN assets. While there, he built a large retail portfolio, and syndicated large tracts of land for commercial and residential DRIs in Marion and Sumter counties. Mr. Glassman created a builder program with numerous national home builders, and was involved in the acquisition and development of various DRIs located in the State of Florida. He has held the designation of CCIM since 1997.
