Porsche Design, one of the leading luxury brands in the high-end men's accessories segment,
will open a 3,153 square feet store at 100 Grant Avenue in Union Square. The store is scheduled
to open in December 2010.
100 Grant Avenue, which is located on Grant Avenue on the corner at Geary Street , offers a
rare corner location of this size and visibility in Union Square.
Cushman & Wakefield brokerage professionals Kazuko Morgan and Grant Guidinger worked
with the luxury brand in its site search and lease negotiation. The sublandlord, Stuart
Weitzman, was represented by Laura Pomerantz and Betty Ende of PBS Real Estate LLC.
Porsche Design is one of the leading luxury brands in the high-end men's accessories
segment. Porsche Design products are sold worldwide exclusively in Porsche Design stores,
shop-in-shops, top-quality department stores and luxury retail outlets.
"Finding a suitable boutique location in Union Square for such a distinguished brand is
very difficult in this market, as there are few spaces and lots of competition," said Ms.
Morgan, an executive vice president in Cushman & Wakefield's Retail Services Group.
"100 Grant Avenue is an ideal site, at the center of the luxury retail action and
surrounded by other prominent global brands."
In addition to Porsche Design, major retailers located at 100 Grant Ave. include Anne
Fontaine, Montblanc, Tumi, Longchamp, G Star and Joseph Cozza Salon. Grant Avenue is one of
Union Square's premier retail streets.
Porsche Design's new store will be located on the same street as Bottega Veneta , AllSaints
Spitalfields, Chanel, John Varvatos, and across the street from Hermes, Prada and Juicy
Couture.
