Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announced the appointment of Ricardo Reis as European
partner of the firm.
Ricardo Reis joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2008, as an associate and Head of valuation.
Ricardo Reis holds a degree in architecture from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, and a
masters in Real Estate Management and Valuations from the Instituto Superior de Economia e
Gestão (ISEG). With extensive experience in consultancy and valuations, he is also a member
of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ricardo Reis Reis headed DTZ Portugal’s consultancy
and valuation teams and was prior to that also head of valuations at CPU Consultores.
According to Eric van Leuven, managing partner of Cushman & Wakefield in Portugal, “This
appointment not only represents personal recognition of our colleague, but also demonstrates
the maturity of the Lisbon office and international confidence in Cushman & Wakefield
Portugal”.
The Lisbon office of C&W currently has 70 members of staff, including 6 partners: Eric
van Leuven, Luís Rocha Antunes, Carlos Oliveira, Sandra Campos, Fernando Ferreira and Ricardo
Reis.
Cushman & Wakefield is the leading company in the Portuguese valuation sector, and is
responsible for the valuation of assets of companies such as Sonae Sierra, Chamartín, JP
Morgan, Rockspring, ING, CGI, Martifer, as well as investment funds such as Imopólis, Eurohypo,
BPI Gestão de Activos, Interfundos, Fundbox and Norfin, amongst others. In 2010, it was
responsible for the valuation of real estate assets worth 23 billion euros.
