  • 25 West 45th Street Inks 10 Transactions

    Cushman & Wakefield announced today the completion of five new leases and five renewals at 25 West 45th Street, a 17-story building located between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas.

    APF Properties, a real estate investment firm, which owns 25 West 45th Street and two other well-located Midtown Manhattan office buildings at 286 Madison Avenue and 1156 Avenue of the Americas, appointed Cushman &Wakefield exclusive leasing agent of the three properties in April 2010.

    Cushman & Wakefield's leasing team led by David A. Rosenbloom, Joshua A. Goldman, Jonathan Fales, and Michael Blanchard, represented APF Properties.

    New Leases
    - Apple Mortgage Corporation leased 6,342 square feet on the 13th floor. Daniel Segal from Newmark Knight Frank represented Apple Mortgage Corporation.

    - Efro, Inc. leased 3,325 square feet on the 5th floor. Andrew J. Epstein from Easy Street Properties, LLC represented Efro, Inc.

    - Afar Media LLC leased 2,552 square feet on the 12th floor. Logan Gurtman from Colliers International represented Afar Media LLC.

    - FRP Service & Co. (America) Inc., a specialist in all types of reinforced plastic and chemical products, leased 2,445 square feet on the 15th floor. Gregory Rogers represented FRP Service & Co. Inc.

    - Sandton Capital Partners leased 1,503 square feet on the 12th floor. Ruth Colp Haber from Wharton Property Advisors represented Sandton Capital Partners.

    These transactions, coupled with recent renewals that include Cision US, Inc. for 8,880 square feet, Harkess-Ord, LLC for 4,676 square feet, Kelton Research for 2,996 square feet, Gems One Corporation for 3,298 square feet, and Laurence Gordon Diamonds Corporation for 1,278, combine for 10 lease deals for a total of 37,295 square feet.

    "APF Properties has committed to an extensive capital improvement program, which has allowed for a new lobby renovation, upgraded bathrooms and common corridors, along with new amenities including a conference center on the second floor," said David Rosenbloom, a Cushman & Wakefield executive director. "These improvements have definitely contributed to the recent volume of renewals and new leases at 25 West 45th Street and interest from the tenant and broker community."
