New head office for Fox International Channels Portugal in Victoria Building, Lisbon

C&W have announced the placement of FOX International Channels Portugal in the Victoria building, on Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon.

FOX International Channels Portugal, a network of various paid cable television channels, digital services, on-line advertisement and new media, subsidiary company of News Corporation Company, will occupy 430 m² on the 1st floor of the North wing of the Victoria building, located on Lisbon’s main avenue.

FOX Portugal has several channels which complement each other in different themes: FOX channels with the latest new series and movies, National Geographic Channels about the world we live in and Baby TV with children programs.

In this transaction, Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of Victoria Seguros, which is the owner of the aforementioned building.

According to Francisco Vasconcellos, from Cushman & Wakefield’s office agency team, “The privileged location of the Victoria building, in the best office area in Lisbon, strengthens the positioning of the building as a strategic space for prominent companies such as FOX International Channels Portugal”.

Featured in the “Prémio Valmor” [ in 1998, the Victoria building comprises 8 floors of office space, a commercial area on ground floor , an auditorium with an 80-person capacity and a private car park with 124 spaces. The building is already occupied by insurance company Victoria, two law firms, Carlos Aguiar, P. Pinto & Associados, RL and Pedro Cardigos & Associados, ING Bank and Euronext.
