  • Edificio Art’s with pioneering sustainability project

    14 Sep, 2011, Lisbon

Under the implementation of social, economic and environmental responsibility and sustainability policies in the buildings under the management of Cushman & Wakefield, the “Art’s”, an experimental and pioneering project is starting today and will last 4 months.

This initiative will be implemented at one of the buildings managed by the consultancy firm, the Art’s Business & Hotel Centre, at Av. D. João II in Parque das Nações, and aims to transform the place by innovating in terms of well-being and living. More than a workplace, we intend for Art’s to be a place of innovations and experiences, which will further facilitate things for people “living” there and make their lives more fun and balanced, fostering personal success and corporate sustainability.

This project will see a range of initiatives taking place in the year, promoting well-being and individual and corporate awareness, in particular lunchtime jazz concerts, group jogging sessions at the end of the afternoon, awareness sessions and the celebration of international days, social insertion projects, opening up of workspaces to families, promoting new options of mobility, and encouraging people to diminish their carbon footprint, amongst others.

In conjunction with the normal energy-saving initiatives, these initiatives will use green solutions and adjustments which will make it possible to make corporate facilities more sustainable for those occupying and using them.

C&W has secured the support of several tenants in the Art’s building and other companies based in Parque das Nações, with a view to the implementation and success of this project.

The aim is to extend this initiative to all the buildings managed by Cushman & Wakefield in Parque das Nações, thereby creating a new method of asset management.
