Brandon L. Singer Joins Retail Services

Cushman & Wakefield today announced that Brandon L. Singer joined the firm as director,
retail services and will be based in the firm's World Headquarters office in Midtown Manhattan.
He will work directly with one of Cushman & Wakefield's retail teams led by Joanne Podell,
executive vice president, and will concentrate on representing tenants and landlords throughout
New York City.
Mr. Singer joins Cushman & Wakefield from Robert K. Futterman and Associates (RKF), where
he began his retail real estate career in 2007. At RKF, Mr. Singer negotiated in excess of $200
million in transactions on behalf of tenants and landlords.

Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield's New York offices.
Mr. Singer has been credited with the transformation of the western block front of Madison
Avenue from East 87th to 88th Streets, having secured leases on behalf of J. Crew's Crewcuts,
JOIE, Jack Rogers, Ankasa, and Margo Manhattan Jewelry. He leased the corner space at The
Caledonia in the Meatpacking District, on behalf of the Related Companies to Flor de Sol, a
Tapas restaurant and bar. Also in the Meatpacking District, he represented Taconic Investment
Partners in a 32,000 square foot lease to Arhaus Furniture; and on behalf of Soul Cycle, Mr.
Singer secured two new locations for the retailer at 1470 Third Avenue and 101 Warren Street in
Tribeca. In the heart of SoHo, Mr. Singer located the space for the new flagship tattoo shop
featured on NY Ink, a TLC network television program.
Mr. Singer represented the landlord, Cedar Management, in the leasing of a 4,700-square-foot
space to the National September 11th Memorial & Museum, located steps away from the World
Trade Center site. He has also negotiated transactions within all major Manhattan retail
corridors, including the Meatpacking District, Soho, Flatiron, Madison Avenue, Fifth Avenue,
Times Square, Midtown, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Financial District and West
Chelsea.
Mr. Singer received the CoStar Power Broker award for being one of the Top-25 Retail Leasing
Brokers in New York City for 2009 and 2010. He serves on the board of UJA Generosity, which
strives to inspire future philanthropists to create positive, meaningful, and lasting changes
in the lives of those in need. He is also a member of the Young Leadership Cabinet of Israel
Bonds. Mr. Singer is a graduate of The George Washington University where he received a BBA
from the School of Business. He resides in Manhattan.
