It is clear that shop-premises in Bruges attract investors. In October 2011 the Delbaere family
sold Zara Kids Shop (Zuidzandstraat 2, 580 m²) to investment holding company Bermaso. Two
months later, in December, Cushman & Wakefield was involved in another two transactions in
this famous Belgian city. Bruges ranks among the important cities of Belgium and has a high
footfall in the shopping streets, which effectively draws in a lot of retailers, but
also investors.
