Cushman & Wakefield today announced that Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), a fully
accredited public two-year institution, has leased a full floor of 30,000-square-foot space at
7556 Teague Road, Arundel Mills Corporate Park in Hanover.
Cushman & Wakefield leasing agents Benjamin Meisels and David Baird represented the
tenant in this transaction. Cushman & Wakefield leasing agents Tim Jackson and Bob Sheehy
represented the sublessor, ITT Corporation, which will move out of 22,575 square feet. The
college took an additional 7,000 square feet on the remainder of the floor from the landlord,
JPB Partners.
The new AACC training center will include specialized labs and faculty space for
AACC’s CyberCenter, currently based on the college’s Arnold campus, and for
contract training provided by the college Center for Workforce Solutions, based at the Glen
Burnie Town Center. AACC plans to complete space modifications in time to offer fall 2012
classes at the Teague Road site. The new training center is located across the street from
Arundel Mills Mall and close to the National Security Agency and the U.S. Cyber Command at Fort
Meade, which is expected to employ 20,000 workers.
