C&W advises the METRO GROUP on the sale of its investment lands

Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, advises on the sale of plots of land owned by MRE-WREP, a company managed by METRO PROPERTIES, which is part of the METRO GROUP.

Cushman & Wakefield will assist the owner MRE-WREP in the sale of its plots of land totalling 47 hectares and located in 28 towns and cities: Warsaw, Ząbki, Olsztyn, Białystok, Lublin, Kielce, Kraków, Rzeszów, Katowice, Sosnowiec, Zabrze, Częstochowa, Bielsko-Biała, Rybnik, Opole, Wrocław, Poznań, Kalisz, Zielona Góra, Szczecin, Gdynia, Gdańsk Przejazdowo, Bydgoszcz, Łódź, Toruń, Koszalin, Rzgów, Legnica.

The plots of land up for sale include mainly undeveloped lands adjacent to the areas occupied by Makro Cash & Carry and mostly with valid local zoning plans. They can be used primarily for retail and service functions, and for logistics operations in some cases.

Marek Noetzel, Partner, Retail Department of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Each potential investor will be treated on an individual basis. The plots of land can be sold in package deals or as single investments, depending on the buyers’ needs. Land leases are also an option.”
