Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, has been appointed
leasing agent for the retail park being developed as part of the Europa Centralna shopping
complex near Gliwice, Silesia.
Europa Centralna, a truly regional shopping centre with a catchment area exceeding 5 million
people is a unique concept combining a shopping centre and retail park on the largest motorway
interchange (A1 & A4) in Central Europe. The scheme is anchored by Tesco, Media Saturn,
Castorama and Jula and will open in autumn 2012.
Szymon Lukasik of Cushman & Wakefield said, “We are really pleased to be associated with
this project. The shopping gallery is already more than 70% leased and we are focused at
completing the line- up of both Polish and international tenants in the retail park which will
be the largest retail park destination in the region, offering customers an unrivalled range of
retailing in one single location with the huge advantages of accessibility and visibility from
the A1 and A4 motorways. This is a very high quality project in a fantastic location.”
