Michal Soták new head of research at C&W

Michal Soták is the new head of the Research Team at Cushman & Wakefield. In his position, he is responsible for preparing feasibility studies, managing statistical data and preparing analyses. Both clients and various C&W teams working on other assignments use the services of his team.

Michal Sotak leads the Research Team in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Michal worked at Develon (2007-2011) as a development manager. He was involved in acquisitions, obtaining financing from banks, and developing and managing real estate in the company’s portfolio. He worked on projects such as the Breda & Weinstein Opava shopping centre, the Cestlice retail park etc. He started his career at Citigroup, working at its Prague and London offices (2006-2007).

Michal Sotak is a graduate of the UK-based University of Bath’s School of Management where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, as well as a holder of a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Prague’s Charles University.

Michal enjoys American sitcoms and loves playing paintball.
