Sherry Cushman to Lead Law Firm Advisory Practice

Cushman & Wakefield today announced Sherry Cushman has joined the firm as an Executive Managing Director to lead the company's Law Firm Advisory Practice. Reporting directly to Jim Underhill, CEO of Cushman & Wakefield's Americas region, she will oversee an integrated service delivery platform designed to meet the unique real estate needs and requirements of law firms throughout the United States. The group draws on multi-disciplinary teams of professionals, offering strategic solutions specifically tailored for occupiers in the legal industry.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Cushman was a senior vice president at CBRE. She has spent her entire 27 year career exclusively advising tenants in the legal and non-profit/association sectors throughout the United States. In her new role, she will be based in Washington, D.C. and will travel the country working with tenants and a wide range of Cushman & Wakefield professionals developing long term business real estate strategies that support and fulfill the business goals and objectives of clients.

She has been the recipient of both the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors' Transaction of the Year Award for her representation of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Washington, D.C., and the prestigious Brendan B. McCarthy Memorial Award as voted by her peers.

During her career, Ms. Cushman has represented law firm tenants throughout the country totaling more than five-million square feet of leasing and build-to-suit transactions.
