Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) recently announced the
placement the new Arcádia store in Rua João Crisóstomo, in the centre of Lisbon. The new shop
of the Portuguese chocolate maker and retailer occupying 55 m2 opened last September 28, and is
its 13th store in Portugal and 4th in Lisbon.
In this transaction C&W acted on behalf of the owner, Posser Villar Investimentos
Imobiliários.
Arcádia opened its first store in Porto in 1933, on Rua do Almada, going on to become a
household name in chocolate in Portugal. In Lisbon the brand opened its first street store in
2010.
In recent months Cushman & Wakefield has been responsible for placing many stores in the
centre of Lisbon, including Blanco, Muji, Custo Barcelona, Vitaminas, Miss Sixty, Salsa, and
Perfumes e Companhia, amongst others.
