Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, has been appointed
by the Polski Holding Nieruchomości Group as the exclusive agent in the process of acquiring JV
partner for the realization of the Fishermen Port project at 10 Hryniewickiego Street in
Gdynia.
The site, on which the investment is planned, extends to 10.4 ha. It is located in the
centre of Gdynia on the Fishermen’s Pier. There is a prestigious apartment building Sea Towers
and Gemini shopping centre in close proximity of the project. The land is owned by Dalmor, one
of the subsidiaries of the Capital Group of Polski Holding Nieruchomości.
“Fishermen’s Port” complex will comprise office and residential buildings with ancillary
retail and services uses. PHN Group alongside Cushman & Wakefield is seeking JV partners
having experience in the development of projects in office, retail and residential sectors.
“We are carrying out large investment projects through JV partnership, which is in line with
the Group’s business strategy. The Fishermen’s Port is a large-scale project with development
potential, which determines such an investment strategy. We have a number of projects of this
type, both planned and under construction, such as Wrocław Industrial Park realized together
with the British developer SEGRO” - says Paweł Laskowski-Fabisiewicz, Vice-President of PHN
SA.
“The planned investment is an example of rejuvenation of the post-industrial area in a prime
waterfront location. GK PHN considers carrying out the project as a single investment or in the
form of a few independent ventures, with one or a few partners” – says Piotr Szmilewski, senior
surveyor in Capital Markets Group at Cushman & Wakefield.
