Leading development specialist to join Cushman & Wakefield
13 Sep, 2006, London
Cushman & Wakefield has recruited leading national development specialist Rob Bray as a partner.
Rob joins from Atisreal where he was a director and joint head of development and funding with responsibility for the acquisition and disposal of development land and investment stock. He has been with Atisreal since 2002. Prior to that he was head of office agency at Nelson Bakewell, where we worked from 1997, and prior to that he was a senior surveyor at Hillier Parker.
At Cushman & Wakefield Rob will be head of national office development (outside of Central London) working for and creating development business with developers, property companies, funds and corporate clients. His appointment complements the firm's recruitment in late 2005 of DTZ's West End development team comprising William Jackson, Zoe Bignell and Alistair Martin.
Rob is currently working on a number of high profile projects across the UK including the purchase of a 180,000 sq ft development opportunity at George Street in Croydon on behalf of Terrace Hill and the purchase of 10 acres for a 200,000 sq ft office development at Glory Park in High Wycombe for HGB. Some of Rob's additional clients include Development Securities, Cadenza, Morley Fund Management, Hewlett Packard, BAE Systems and Royal Mail.
Adrian Hill, head of business space, Cushman & Wakefield said: "Rob is one of the best development agents in the market who has helped to make some of the UK's best commercial schemes a reality. His arrival complements both our National Office Agency team and our London Development team at a time when both developers and corporates are increasingly confident about the market."
