Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield today announced its appointment
by Pitney Bowes Inc. to sell three parcels totaling 26 acres of land located at Waterview Drive
in Shelton, Conn.
The property, located off exit 13 from Route 8, is commercially zoned for light industrial
park (LIP) development and usage. Jamie Covello, executive director of Cushman &
Wakefield of New York, together with Patrick Colwell and Kevin Foley, senior directors, and
Peter Shaplin, associate, of Cushman & Wakefield of Connecticut are representing Pitney
Bowes and handling the sale of the property.
“This offering presents a rare opportunity for a savvy investor to develop a build to
suit or speculative mixed-use property in a highly desirable area,” said Mr. Colwell.
“Since there is a demand for light industrial and flex/office space in Shelton, we
believe there will be strong interest from tenants in the market for this type of
property.”
