Nature’s Best Takes On 409k SF At Watson Commerce Center

Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates $25 Million Build-to-Suit at State of the Art Industrial Facility

Nature’s Best, a leading national wholesaler-distributor of health and natural products, has signed a ten-year lease to occupy 409,588 square feet at Watson Commerce Center in Chino, California. Jeff Chiate, Rick Ellison and Chuck Belden from Cushman & Wakefield represented Nature’s Best in the transaction valued at $25 million. Tom Taylor and Steve Belletti of Colliers represented Watson Land Company.

The facility will be a build-to-suit and is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2007. It is part of Watson Commerce Center, a master-planned industrial park under development by Watson Land Company on the 60 acres of land it had acquired in 2006. The project broke ground in October last year.

Nature’s Best is currently located in a 350,000-square-foot facility in Brea which houses both its corporate offices and a distribution center. The company has experienced rapid growth in demand for its natural products, prompting it to expand its operations and facilities.

“Inland Empire continues to attract large warehouse users with its state-of-the-art new developments, as land and big-box facilities become increasingly scarce in the Greater Los Angeles area and Orange County,” says Jeff Chiate, a senior director from Cushman & Wakefield’s Orange County office.
