Jodie Dostal Promoted To Director

Cushman & Wakefield today announced the promotion of Henry J. “Jodie” Dostal to the position of Director, Transaction Services, in the firm’s Stamford, CT office.

Mr. Dostal, who previously held the title of associate director, has been actively involved in the commercial real estate industry for 19 years, having represented the interests of numerous corporations and institutions in the lease and purchase of commercial property, primarily in Fairfield County.

Mr. Dostal was also recently honored with Cushman & Wakefield’s New York Area “Gold Production” Award for outstanding 2006 production achievement in the associate director category.

“Jodie represents a broad range of significant clients and provides added value to the firm through his representation of tenants and landlords in Fairfield County,” said Jim Fagan, senior managing director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Fairfield and Westchester County region. “He has been an instrumental part of the firm’s growth in this region.”

Mr. Dostal is recognized for his major accomplishments on behalf of tenant and landlords in Fairfield County. In 2006, he represented Stamford Hospital in their widely publicized 57,000 square foot lease at 1351 Washington Blvd. in Stamford.

He was also highly successful in the leasing of more than 200,000 sf in two years at NordenPark in Norwalk, the subleasing of 225 High Ridge Road East, a 117,000-sf building in Stamford, and the leasing of 800 Boston Post Road in Darien, CT.

Mr. Dostal is a graduate of Connecticut College. He and his family reside in Darien.
