Cushman & Wakefield, Healey & Baker has advised The Good Food Shop (TGFS), on
acquiring its fourth outlet in Scotland at The Plaza, East Kilbride.
The company, which sells an award winning range of Cornish Pasties and fresh soups, has
taken a 650 sq ft unit with 90 sq ft of remote storage, in the popular West Mall.
The unit was acquired on a 10x5 Full Repairing & Insuring (FRI) lease at an initial rent
of £61,000, with three months rent free. McParlane & Co represented the landlord The
Scottish Retail Property Partnership (a joint venture between British Land and Land
Securities).
"This is the fourth store that TGFS has opened in Scotland and follows the success of
two units in Aberdeen and a unit in Dundee," said Stuart Moncur, of Cushman &
Wakefield, Healey & Baker.
