Cushman & Wakefield Stiles & Riabokobylko (C&W/S&R) has appointed Konstantin
Sakharov as Executive Director Retail Services to lead its 18-strong retail team. It has
also appointed Anna Shchapova as senior leasing consultant. She is formerly of Jones Lang
LaSalle.
Konstantin joins C&W/S&R from major retail developer ОАОRegiony
Regions Development, a regional branch of AFK Systemа, where he was Chief Executive
Officer. Konstantin holds an MBA degree from Columbia University, USA and a Master of
Arts from Moscow State University. He brings with him considerable experience in business
development and strategic planning in the real estate sector.

These appointments form part of a restructuring of the retail team involving the departure
of five members of the team. C&W/S&R is the largest and longest established
retail agent in Russia with a team of 18 retail professionals. To meet the rapid increase
in demand for retail services the firm is recruiting the best talent in the market and expects
to make announcements on several further appointments in the coming months.
The firm is retained by a number of retailers and developers including major shopping centre
schemes such as IKEA's Mega Malls, Crocus International 'Kashirsky Mall' project, Regions
Development project 'June' in St Petersburg, Victor & Co project 'Mega City' in
Samara. It is also advising clients in emerging retail markets including Yekaterinburg,
Kazan, Novosibirsk, Perm, Samara and Ufa. C&W/S&R is part of Cushman
&Wakefield's leading European retail team which dominates the market with 170 retail
professionals who together are involved in 300 shopping centre schemes comprising a total of 10
million sq m.
C&W/S&R is a wholly owned Cushman & Wakefield office and was acquired on 1st
January this year after a seven year working association. It is the largest full service
real estate firm in Russia with over 100 staff and is Cushman & Wakefield’s second largest
European office after London. The firm recently celebrated its 10th anniversary
with a party for over 2,000 guests.
